Attached with
the RWA's for the last many years, i observed that there was no platform
for the interaction of RWA's at any level. The Bhagidari scheme of Delhi
Government was a welcome step. But the RWA's who gathered at various
workshops arranged by Bhagidari committee of Delhi Govt. or by the DC
office, were a scattered lot once the said meet or workshop was over. |

With the aim
of a bhagidari amongst the RWA's of Delhi, i started the blog
www.RWABhagidari.blogspot.com on 1st January, 2010. It was a success
as a good number of RWA's joined us Online as well Offline.The purpose
of this blog was to make it a common platform for interaction of various
RWA's of Delhi as well to highlight the civic problems being faced by
residents of various areas.The media also gave a thundering reception to
the blog as it was covered by the best which included Hindustan times,
Dainik Jagran, City Plus, Amar Ujala, Rashtriy Sahara as well the Delhi
Aaj Tak TV Channel. |

To move a
step further, i decided to launch an ONLINE Directory of RWA's of Delhi
& to begin with i started with Delhi East District. This Directory as
www.RWABhagidari.com is being
launched on 1st of July, 2010 i.e. just after six months of the launch
of RWABhagidari blog. |

The benefit
of this directory is that all the visitors can get the full fledged
information of the desired RWA's just by the click of a mouse. It's not
only very easy to make regular alterations in it, it is also a GREEN
PROJECT as no paper is used and hence saved the cutting of trees.We are
trying to add as much information as possible in it. |
